National Memory Championship > National Memory Championship 2010/Guinness World Records
Memory is a skill and can be learnt. Like any other skill that can be mastered, Memory can be improved at any time in the life. A critical component of the brain's functioning; memory has always assumed significance in ones' day-to-day life. Memory Maestro and Triple Guinness World Record Holder, Jayasimha conducts public workshops on “Creative Memory” every year. These workshops deliver results in that more than ninety percent of the participants have shown remarkable difference pre and post the memory training. To spread this awareness and to contribute significantly to the intellectual empowerment, the National Memory Championship is a contest that tests the memory of all participants in various dimensions. Participants who are above 12 years of age are eligible are eligible to take part in the Championship. This contest is conducted once in a year, and is normally conducted between October and November of every year.
Squadron Leader Jayasimha is the chairman of National Memory Council of India and his main aim is to develop India through mentally healthy people. The metal health depends on how much work we give to our brains. Hence, exercising our mental muscle from an early age would definitely creativity, memory power and enhance maximum brain usage. Hence, Jayasimha is aiming to conduct such Memory Championships every year in India so as to show case India’s Brain power to the world.
The First National Memory Championship of India 2009:
For the first time, Squadron Leader Jayasimha had conducted the Indian Memory Championship in Hyderabad on 11 October 2009 at Hitex. The Second National Memory Championship 2010 :
The Second National Memory Championship of India – 2010 will be held on 31 October 2010 (Sunday) in Hyderabad at Hotel Fortune Select Manohar, Near Old Airport, Begumpet, Hyderabad – 500016. The maximum number of participants would be 150. The registrations are opened wef 15 July 2010. Registration is on first come – first serve basis. The fee for the championship is

The details of various events are given in this website and you can also download the registration form from here. JMD would train the participants who would be interested to compete and win this title. The training would be from 15 Oct to 25 Oct 2010 at JMD office in the morning and evening batches.
Guinness Book of World Records :
Squadron Leader Jayasimha would also take up specialized training for students/ adults who are interested to enter into Guinness Book of World Records in the field of Memory or any other field. He can undertake consulting, advising and also conduct of the Guinness Record event anywhere in India. Lot of students got into Guinness World Records after attending his training. He has also helped Sri K Brahmanandam, Popular Telugu film Comedian,Sri Gazal Srinivas – a famous singer, and Sri K Srinathachari – a professor from Palamur University to get into Guinness Book of World Records.
